Every ride has its end at some point, and so it is with my job position.  It’s been a great ride of 15 years, which is 105 in IT years.

I’m proud of the team we assembled, the things we built, what we accomplished during that time, and the principles we tried to live out.  I will miss seeing daily many great people there, many who I’ve worked alongside during challenging times, and who are practically family at this point.  I thank you all for your help, your support, and your friendship over the years, and will do my best to keep in touch.

Stay tuned, though, for the launch of Job 10.0. Not sure yet what features will make it into the release, but there’s some great stuff on the storyboard.

While I have some free time, I’m also re-launching this site.  Since I put it up in 2000, it’s always been more of a  playground for web tech than a serious attempt at a site that anyone would want to read.  This will be a more serious attempt, while still being a platform for frequent experimentation.

My philosophy has always been to get to where I want to go, and at the same time, to really enjoy the ride.  Please enjoy this ride, and the rides that you’re on as well.
